Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine
As a primary/tertiary center, Kalamazoo is the referral site for Southwestern Michigan. MSU/KCMS is a partnership that includes two level one trauma center hospitals, Bronson Methodist Hospital and Borgess Medical Center. Their campuses are ten minutes from each other. We draw from a patient population of more than one million with cases ranging from agricultural accidents to trauma and diseases typical of an urban setting.
The proven commitment to postgraduate training by these two hospitals has resulted in a quality of care that rivals university medical centers and provides the advantages of a community patient population.
