Highlights

St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) has been a leader in training physicians for over 40 years. Medical education is a central part of the overall mission of SJMO and a pillar of the hospital, supporting our outstanding patient care and research, and our commitment to our community. The hospital is a 478 bed comprehensive community hospital and a long-time leader in Oakland county. SJMO has been ranked in the top 5% of hospitals across the nation for clinical excellence. The hospital has received national recognition for palliative care programs. Most recently, SJMO has transformed the way care is delivered by uniting state-of-the-art computer information systems with best-in-class processes to create a 21 st century health care system for world class patient care and safety.

Interviews:

The interview process at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital is held once, yearly. It is a one day event that encompasses individual interviews and an open forum with residents. Also included are a tour of the facilities and introduction to faculty and staff. Complimentary breakfast and lunch are served. The interview day will typically occur on the 2nd Saturday of November.
