Located in Macomb County, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital has everything you need to realize the best in postgraduate medical education and future practice opportunities. Owned by Henry Ford Health System, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is the county’s largest, longest-established and most comprehensive health system. Services are provided to roughly 540,000 residents in the central and northern portions of the county and surrounding communities.

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital’s Clinton Township site is quickly becoming a tertiary facility as we experience unprecedented growth in response to the needs of our rapidly growing community.

Services include:

  • A new emergency center and emergency pediatrics wing, with a guarantee that patients will be seen by a physician within 30 minutes.
  • Comprehensive heart and vascular care, including cardiac catheterization labs and open heart surgery.
  • Surgical innovations, including the daVinci Surgical Systemwith robotic technology, used by urologic and cardiac surgeons.
  • An 18-suite Birthing Center, with LDRP suites, a special care nursery with 24-hour neonatology coverage and dedicated operating suites.
  • A 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation program.
  • Cancer care services with IMRT technology and prostate and breast specialty centers.
  • A three-story critical care tower featuring the latest in hospital-based care, which will open in December 2004.

    • Our specialty care hospital in Mt. Clemens provides inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Medicine services, as well as long-term acute care services through a partnership with Select Specialty Hospital.

    Ambulatory services are provided by health centers at various locations throughout the county, including Chesterfield, Fraser and Almont/Romeo. Henry Ford Macomb also touches thousands of lives each year through its nationally acclaimed Parish Nursing and School Health networks, as well as its two clinics for uninsured and underinsured residents.
