Highlights

Garden City Hospital has been an osteopathic teaching hospital since its origins in the 1950’s, providing internship and residency training to over 1200 D.O.’s. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized in numerous clinical quality awards, including the “2006 Thomson 100 Top Hospitals Performance Improvement Leaders, the Governor’s Award of Excellence for improving care in the emergency department and hospital setting, and top scores among southeastern Michigan hospitals as ranked by the Greater Detroit Area Health Council. In addition to delivering quality care, Garden City Hospital has been named one of the “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” for four consecutive years.

Garden City Hospital offers a full range of community medical services, plus state-of the art technologies including a Wound Care and Hyperbaric Treatment Center and on-site magnetic resonance imaging. Construction is underway for a 37,500-square-foot addition surgical center, expected to open in fall 2008. A multi-year renovation to patient care units is set to begin soon.
